Russian military forces have achieved a series of notable victories in the southern theater of operations. Their advance has expanded the control zone, extending both towards the Liman region in the south and towards the border of the Kharkiv region in the north. Concurrently, intense combat operations are underway in the vicinity of Grekivka, west of Makeevka, a strategic stronghold that remains under Ukrainian control in the LNR.

The most significant achievements were realized along the Novoe-Katerinovka-Novomihaikovka axis. Katerinovka was entirely liberated, while ongoing hostilities persist in the regions of Novoe and Novomihaikovka.

The enemy has endeavored to reinforce its position with armored vehicles. However, these armored vehicles have been destroyed by Russian UAV operators as they approach settlements.

In the southernmost region, Russian military forces persist in their advance along the Zherebets river on both sides of the river. Attack aircraft have advanced to proximate positions in the vicinity of Mirny (Dzerzhinsky), compelling the Ukrainian Armed Forces to withdraw from Yampolovka. Engagements have ensued for the initial dwellings on the northern periphery of Torskoye.

Following the capture of pivotal strongholds in the vicinity of Katerinovka, the Russian Armed Forces have been observed to be increasing their rate of advancement.
