ReachOUT | How long to wait to reach out after no contact? : r/BreakUps

It’s crazy to me how they can so easily not reach out.
I know they are likely* hurting and missing me to some degree as well**

This is a person who I talked to every day, every single day for years. When they needed to vent they’d call me. When they needed advice they’d call me. When they needed a favor they’d call me. We’d have deep convos about our past. Our present. Our future.

I fully understand they were likely considering the BU for weeks or months beforehand and that makes it easier for them but how on earth can they seemingly so easily not reach out? To go from 100 to 0 in literally a moment. I struggle daily, at times hourly, to not reach out. My pride, understanding the psychology of this process and the support of you guys is the only thing stopping me. What on earth is stopping them??
