CONCORD Dev Doesn’t Want MARATHON to be Compared to Them

Marathon is having a rough time following Bungie releasing a gameplay trailer since it many are comparing it to the failure that was Concord.

Sony quickly pulled Concord about a month after it’s release and many gamers are noticing it looks like Marathon is going to go down that same route. This is not good since the new shooter is not free to play and it’s perhaps asking a lot for gamers to shell out any amount of money for something that may not be around in a couple months. It may be fair to ask people to give it a chance, but I’s on Bungie to make a game that looks like something people will want to play. If the marketing is not able to convince people it is not on gamers to give them the benefit of the doubt.
