After an eight-month real-world test on two Cummins KTA1150 diesel engines, Metal Treatment MT-10® demonstrated a 29% reduction in iron wear metals per hour and a savings of $0.44 for every hour the dozer operated. These results reflect MT-10®’s ability to significantly reduce friction and internal component wear, improving long-term reliability and engine cleanliness. With wear reduction also comes improved oil performance and reduced maintenance frequency—leading to fewer service interruptions.

With just a 5% dose by volume, a $1,570 investment in MT-10® helped one fleet achieve over $5,280 in potential savings per engine—producing a 3.36:1 return on investment. The projected 20% increase in engine design life (from 10,000 to 12,000 hours) offers even greater long-term value.
