“Doug, thank you for talking about fungus!” I’m so fortunate to hear (or read) this many times daily! I can only guess why Mycology (the study of fungus) is void during medical education, but I was so blessed to independently study fungus and their poisons (mycotoxins) as they related to human symptoms and diseases. I was then able to take the information that older Mycology library books offered and work with physicians by adding a perspective to their medical practices they hadn’t been taught. Sadly, medical training is largely void in instruction of systemic fungal disorders and current verbiage contends that these disorders are very rare. On Wednesday from 2-3PM Central Time, we will continue walking down this far less traveled road, because it is favorably impacting so many viewers. As you witnessed today, your questions are so valuable to our many viewers. Know that I am not a physician and will leave the diagnosing and treating to them, but I will tell you what I’d do if I had any symptom or diseases that evaded medical intervention!
