Wauseon HS BLOB v. 23-Zone

EFFECTIVE BASELINE-OUT-OF-BOUNDS PLAY v. 23-ZONE:

Coach Chad Burt, the head man at Wauseon HS (OH), is known for a lot of things. For example, playing for a state champion, being a 4-year starter at Tri State U. (Trine U.), coaching for a state championship in ‘17, nearing his 300th win, and high-end execution on both ends of the court. I got to coach against Chad while at Maumee HS & Delta HS (OH). We were a 99.9% 23-Zone team & trust me, having to defend Coach Burt’s BLOB’s took a TON of preparation. Yes, this play is simple in tactical design, but Chad’s kids flat out execute & screen the lug nuts off defenders. The two coaches in Ohio who utilized the most effective BLOBS v. us were Chad Burt & Perrysburg HS’s Dave Boyce.
