Gedonia 2, early access: episode 13, the mystic

This is a small showcase of one of many possible builds in Gedonia 2. There aren't explicitly defined classes in Gedonia 2 but there are certain combinations of skills that create a certain playstyle. In the case of this character which is mainly a mage with a decent amount of agility, but no strength or charisma, that "class" is a mystic: powerful spells with elusive mobility and insidious lingering attacks.

Eviscerate is a great skill early on to use as "training wheels" while leveling up to afford a decent arsenal of spells, even if I don't use equipment or skills that improve my melee damage. Next step is getting equipment for better magic stats since this character's highest stat is intelligence and I want to start making use of it. Eventually my character is high level enough to wear the incendiary cloth armor set which boosts both destruction magic and damage over time. Damage over time is easy to inflict with banditry's skills categorized under venomous strike, even if I have zero strength stat, while still being a great source of area damage. I'm not as reliant on spells doing all the work during combat. Eviscerate is a great initiator attack against a boss whether your stats are better with melee damage or damage over time since both stack up quickly when using this skill.

Don't forget about the two grappling hook skills. I don't show them much here since I'm usually fine staying in close to medium range with melee enemies, but they're spectacular for escaping or approaching enemies. I could cast flight magic through the storm magic talent but that costs mana, which I'm reserving for shooting lightning at foes. I can spend my stamina on inflicting poison and grappling where I want to go.

Uploads will slow down after this point. I've had a bunch prepared and scheduled for release at the start of early access but that won't be the case anymore. I'll still make videos on Gedonia 2 as there are more builds to showcase or updates, but it won't be every day. I'll be playing a variety of different characters and revisiting them often to showcase different methods for solving dungeons or quests.
