Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series.
My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I check out a cozy new Simulation Game called Ale & Tale Tavern. This game was developed by Scienart Games and was published by GrabTheGames. Ive reviewed several of their other games including Himno, Gladiator Guild Simulator and Oxygen

Ale & Tale Tavern takes place in a Medieval Fantasy World, placing the player in the role of the new owner of a rundown old tavern. Your goal is to restore the Tavern to its former glory by catering to the local heroes and adventurers who have come searching for fortune and glory. Youll begin providing simple meals and basic brews to your customers, keeping them fed and happy along with kicking out unruly drunks and the occasional zombie. As your business acquires money and reputation you can invest in new furniture for your customers along with bigger and better machinery such as brewing stations and grills to cater for bigger crowds. Eventually you can begin to automate your operation by hiring staff and installing heavy machinery like automatic dishwashers, which free you up to work on setting up rooms in your Tavern and tending to your animals and farm.

In addition to the daily management of the Tavern, the game features a quirky cast of characters to meet along with their own quests to complete. There is also a daily job board that players can use to earn money through delivering food and hunting dangerous monsters. However the best feature of the game is the Co-operative mode, allowing you to manage your inn with a group of friends. I highly recommend Ale & Tale Tavern to Simulation Game enthusiasts or those looking for a casual game to enjoy with your friends.
