Matthew 24-Harvest Time

I believe Matthew 24–25 is partially fulfilled—everything up to verse 34 was completed in the first century, particularly in the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. Jesus meant what He said about “this generation.” We are now living in the harvest season described in Matthew 24:31–35, where the messengers (angeloi) are sent out to gather the elect. The parables that follow aren't just warnings—they are instructions for how we are to live faithfully during this long stretch of kingdom expansion. We’re not waiting to escape—we’re working to reap. Christ reigns now, and we labor in that reality until His final return.
