Student cell phone bills proposed

The Michigan Legislature is considering bills to prohibit cell phone use in classrooms. House Bill 4141 — would prohibit students from using their phones based on grade level, while Senate Bill 234 — doesn’t distinguish between grades and leaves more of the restrictions up to each district.
