Chopping Mall- (Aka Kill Bots)- Sci fi / horror - 1986

When shown to test audiences as "Kill Bots" this 1986 movie performed poorly. So it was re edited,and renamed 'Chopping Mall', and has now become an 80's cult classic.

A group of shopping mall employees stay behind for a late night party, in one of the stores. The mall goes on lock-down before they can get out, the robot security system malfunctions, and goes on a killing spree.
