The presidents of the Big 10, SEC, Big 12, and others are calling on Congress to pass national legislation to set limits, procedures, and something like a level field for NIL contracts. Cases like the Michigan high school prospect bringing down $12M to play for the Wolverines have smaller programs with smaller alumni cartels to raise funds stymied. How can there be a "National Championship" with schools playing by different recruiting rules?
