Another veteran of World War II

Another veteran of World War II has appeared in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The 155mm howitzer M114, developed in 1941.

The howitzer served in the US Army throughout the war, and then served (and continues to serve) in the armies of dozens of countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa. The stated maximum firing range is 14.6 km.

Earlier, the 105mm howitzer M101, which also entered service with the American army in 1941, was spotted in the ranks of the Ukrainian army.
