Saul's Anointing- The Rise of Israel's First King (1 Samuel 9 & 10)

History is full of leaders thrust into power, unsure of themselves, and hesitant to step into their calling. Tall and handsome Saul was anointed as King, yet he hid among the baggage instead of embracing this calling. He didn’t seek to be king, yet through him, God taught His people a lesson in leadership.
