A Parenting Story

My son is ten years old, which means he hasn’t accomplished a lot in his life, but there is one thing he loves bringing up.

Constantly.

Repeatedly.

Something he did when he was two years old.

God, I hope he hasn’t peaked.

Wouldn’t that be sad?

If your major life accomplishment took place when you were two?

Then again, it’s probably better than people who think high school is the end all, be all of existence.

Anyway, I’m proud of my son simply for who he is.

This action of his, however.

Not so much.

The laptop bag, for the record, went straight into the garbage.

My wife said, “You’re not even going to try and wash it?”

Nope.

Oh, and there is a picture of the incident.

Or, the aftermath, to be more precise.

It’s in his year-in-review book.

My wife laughingly said I should put that picture in this video.

Nope.

No one needs to see that nonsense.

Ever.

Because gross.
