Davis: The Antidote To ‘Poisonous’ Corporate Media Environment Is More Speech, Not Less
7 months ago
2.06K
“The Founding Fathers understood that a free country could not exist without a free press, because a free press—the ability to publish your thoughts and convince others of your beliefs—is essential to the search for truth. Our nation needs more people speaking, more outlets publishing, and more investigators digging and reporting their results, not fewer,” Federalist CEO Sean Davis said at Hillsdale College’s National Leadership Seminar. “The antidote to a poisonous media environment is not less speech, but more. Yes, the reputation of legacy media is in tatters by virtue of its own misdeeds, but we only know about the lies because someone else had the courage and the capability to tell the truth.”
