Undertale Analysis (Ep.1): Ruins and Snowdin | State Of The Arc Podcast

In the first episode of our Undertale analysis, we take the role of a child who stumbles into the underground, a world of monsters sealed away after an ancient war long ago. After being rescued by Toriel--a kind, motherly monster who takes us in--we leave her care determined to return to the world above. First, we'll have to navigate the traps left by Papyrus, a skeleton man eager to prove himself and join the Underground's Royal Guard. His lazy brother Sans helps us on our journey, cracking jokes along the way.
