Just a stupid useless hat item all that in that hard fight just for that.

Furdo himself is a boss you fight here but he serves absolutely no purpose for anything. his only use is getting Stone gas so uh if you have Riki I guess this can be a good place to go to get it as soon as possible but other than that this area serves no true purpose for story. Just go there and loot the place of treasures and leave or face Furdo if you want to.

So I head over to Scrap where Asellus meets him at and he joins up and takes them over to Wakatu the place that was once his home now destroyed and everyone there killed you know while I don`t much care for Gen as a character all that makes his story tragic. He is the last survivor of what was once likely a very good place now just empty and everyone slaughtered.

However...Before that Orlouge angered at Asellus and White Rose together finally does it he opens up the Dark Labyrinth and outs them in. Inside I meet a new team member Red Turnip hooray another monster character joins! and Asellus escapes out however White Rose remains behind as the sacrifice for Asellus to escape and Red Turnip, too who happens to slip out. White Rose now gone Zozma the one we saw near the beginning of the game comes back again and this time joins. Also because of the loss of White Rose Rei the first princess and the first one to ever escape Orlouge joins. So the arcane quest what is next? Well next is the gold card so it is off to Baccarat.

So the next stop is to go and grab space magic! well light magic too so in order to do that the first stop is to Luminous where we will take the test to earn the gift for light magic really though the only person who is really going to benefit from all this though is Rouge as he is the only one I intend to make use light and he is the only decent magic user on the team besides my mystic team members who may or may not already have gifts of their own. After that I head over to Devin and speak to Rei who sneds us to Kylin`s Paradise a place a very delicious place I might add that serves as a safe haven for children there he makes us take a test and then we can talk to him again and either get space magic or make him join of course I make him join because he is just too cool to pass up.

So after the last crazy video what with me fighting 2 yes 2 dragons and one of them a freaking black dragon, JOTNAR! And, AND a Suzaku with increased stats finally I can take a break from all that and princess Lion shows up and I would rather deal with her than any of those other things I dealt with. So back at Shingrow she shows up and attacks Asellus not a bad battle watch out for counterattacks though just don`t attack her physically at all it is a death wish. But anyway, she gets beaten so now freedom is left to explore the other set of ruins that I didn`t go to yet of this place. Nothing of importance here I just go in and loot the place and leave.

So it is time I didn`t want to do it but had to gonna have to fight the Black Dragon and a Suzaku but those aren`t even the WORST! Oh no. Oh no, no Jotnar..If you don`t know that name you will now! Jotnar is probably the most hardest boss in this game for me he is ridiculous hard and his most broken attack is the stupid wind blast move ugh hate that damn move and I have no idea how to avoid it or atleast lower the damage on it. But after some fierce fights I get Suzaku Jr. to the team a new great member to have and from there head off to get the flower at the top of the mountain that Fuse wanted us to get but not before getting into another fight with a Suzaku! after that we are rewarded the shield card completing the first part of the arcane quest and arguably the hardest part!

So the last place to go is Despair and to get there Asellus will need the help of Annie. Annie takes them all there and they sneak into the place. Honestly the place isn`t too crazy hard however there is a spot in there where you will end up fighting very strong robot enemies near the end of it if you can`t see the laser beams in there. But since my team is decently powered up they aren`t much of a threat. After all this and a little boss fight they find the last rune the freedom rune completing this rune quest! Next up Arcane!

Anyway, just like the water sage I smash the wind sage`s face in easily and move on grabbing 3 treasures from Sei`s tomb and then placing them down in the room to open the path to him. You can either take the stuff or leave it and get him instead. I`d rather take Sei because hey you get a Dullahan out of him a form at which I will be aiming for.

We destroy him also mu`s tomb is the only place that has an enemy known as a mimic ah mimic the for some reason enemy that shouldn`t be as tough as it is but is really overpowered strong. Just like back in Romancing SaGa 2 the lone mimics that were placed in a spot that are to be frank impossible. but this one is beatable but it is just so damn strong. After beating the mimic at what I say was a close call as Asellus got charmed, I go deeper oh wait also Liza gets DSC here because she is just that awesome anyway inside they find the victory rune! but not without a fight though!

Okay well I mean it can be important depending on what you are coming there for the Shingrow ruins. The only real point of interest of going to them is to pick up a few items also this place can be a good spot for training your characters too. but do not go here too soon as the sonic bats will easily kill you.

Go visit my main Channel:https://rumble.com/c/c-3250788 Original Upload Date:Nov 26th, 2019 Time to go hunt down another rune, this one being the vitality rune which is in an odd place it is inside the stomach of a monster named Tanzer and well, not only is that rune in there but everything else! people included and they have even built a small town of sorts inside its stomach! now, how often do you see that? a whole damn town inside the belly of a monster haha. Anyway, guarding the rune is a set of 4 huge slimes which we have to defeat quickly and then touch the rune to get it. not hard at all, vermillion sand makes good work of them. After getting a 2nd rune, Tanzer spits everything out setting everyone free and Fei-on and Slime join the team but I am only keeping 1 of those 2. Fei-on is getting booted out.

This girl is probably one of the best you can use when it comes to martial arts learning! man she did so much good in this part till it is not even funny. anyway I eventually have to face the quakeworm the one thing blocking our way to the rune and boy is the fight pretty intense but Asellus and crew prevail and come out on top and get our first rune.

Well, there are 2 sets of quests I can embark on the arcane quest and the rune quest so well.. I head over to Devin to start those up! also I spent time doing glitches to get my team equipment set up so we are pretty much kinda ready to go now. I will be starting with the rune quest as it is easier overall than arcane. Arcane is hard for certain reasons so it is best to start with rune in my honest opinion.

Also before anything as soon as I get to Shrike I head over to Luminous to grab a new team member Rouge as he will be needed. I love Rouge he is badass just like his brother Blue. Then after grabbing him I go into the Bio Research lab and sneak past all the enemies inside so I won`t get utterly wiped out and get another new team member Cotton who is a monster I love monster type characters they are great! After all that Asellus arrives home only to get greeted to her aunt not even recognizing her and she finds out that she has been missing for years! But Asellus barely gets any moment to really take all that in as we get attacked by our first sage the fire sage who goes down fairly easy heh but try fighting him with just 2 people and see what a difference it makes in difficulty yeah when I first played this game I fought him with just 2 people not fun let me tell you.

Speaking of characters it is in this part I temporarily get one of my most favorite characters in the whole game Mesarthim she is a mystic but appears like a mermaid she is probably one of the most unique mystics in the game and I love her to the point where I can't go a run without her so I make use of the ever so handy debug room a lot in this game to recruit whatever characters I want and add them to teams so don't be shocked when you start seeing certain characters with certain teams that is due to my using the debug room its awesome and I recommend if you play this game to check it out it is so much fun being able to custom build my teams.

Well this SaGa is a bit less challenging than others but still anyway this was just the beginning of things for me here and I started the game off going with Asellus each character has their own little short storyline they follow and own final bosses so everyone is different at many points. It had been so long since I recorded this one I nearly had forgotten I did this game and the thing is it feels like it has not even been that long but apparently I had played this back in 2019 my does the time fly by.
