Despite the limited availability of pulsejets, Maddox took matters into his own hands and started building his own engines from scratch. His first prototype, strapped to his body, produced an impressive 50 pounds of thrust. Undeterred by the risks, Maddox quickly realized the vast potential of these engines.

Driven by his passion, Maddox embarked on a remarkable journey of designing and constructing pulsejet-powered engines. His creations soon grew in size and power, achieving an astonishing 1000 pounds of thrust, making them the largest pulsejet engines in the world. Maddox's innovative spirit led him to integrate these engines into various vehicles, including go-karts, cars, bicycles, and even skateboards, transforming everyday items into engineering marvels.
