That Doesn’t Go There: Kids Put Things in Strange Places

When you tell your kid, “Clean your room,” you have an idea of how you’d like things to look.

Clothes are folded or hung; toys are off the floor and put away.

Children, however, have other thoughts.

To them, “clean your room” means “put everything in the closet, and close the door.”

But, that’s their rooms.

When it comes to the greater house at large, kids put things in the strangest places.
