It is very common to hear about delays, overbudgets and bad plans in Queensland government hospital projects. For example, the so called Satellite hospital projects in Brisbane and surrounding areas had overbudgets and delays. It is even worse because the facilities don't have the features of a hospital, but Queensland government name the facilities as hospitals.

Now the news on this post has the news about multiple hospital projects of the Queensland government. Again, the multiple Queensland government hospital projects now experience overbudgets and poor planning. It appears that Queensland government cannot improve on hospital projects, either by choice or default. It appears that the chronic overbudgets, delays, and poor plannings in almost all the Queensland Health, government health facility projects are reflections of poor work cultures and leaderships in the Queensland Health project teams, and political mindsets. The challenges that appear to be similar to other health facility (especially hospital) projects in Australia.
