THE CRIME: ILLEGAL ALTERATION OF THE VOTERS’ REGISTER AFTER CERTIFICATION

Legal Facts, Section 9(1) of the Elections Act: The Chief Registration Officer must certify and publish the register of voters by March 31 of every year in an election year which is this year 2025.
Section 9(2):
After certification, this register is the official voters’ roll for any election prior to the next certification.
Distribution:
Hard copies have already been distributed to registered parties, locking in the official list of eligible voters.
What the ECS Notice Does:
Invites new submissions from overseas voters AFTER the official March 31 2025 certification date, Implies that new names could be added to the register or changes made after it was locked and given to parties.
Why This is a Crime or at minimum, a serious legal violation!!!
The Act does NOT allow further modifications, additions, or secret adjustments to the register after the March 31 2025 certification.
Any attempt to add, remove, or manipulate entries after the roll is certified and especially without full transparency and party scrutiny, is a violation of Section 9 and directly undermines the integrity of the election.
Section 51 (Offences)
Electoral fraud includes tampering with, falsifying, or unlawfully altering voter lists. If changes are made secretly or selectively, it could even rise to the level of criminal conspiracy to commit electoral fraud!
Maybe start this immediately after elections not a couple months before!
I say NO!
