Escape From Tarkov is scheduled to have a 1.0 release/patch sometime this year (2025), with a new map, Terminal, releasing alongside it. BattleState games has published a roadmap of sorts via their twitter profile outlining how they see this taking place. For a game 10 years in the making, its an almost bitter sweet event to see an actual escape in sight. Escape from Tarkov is truly one of a kind, and regardless of the future after the 1.0 release, this game with forever be with pinnacle of extraction shooters.
