I never expected to find something like this—a clock buried in dust, forgotten in a corner where time had stopped for it long ago. It wasn’t ticking, its face was faded, and its gears lay stiff with rust. But as soon as I held it in my hands, I knew—this wasn’t just an old clock. It had a history, a purpose, and a chance to live again.
What made this restoration even more special was the brand itself—EarlyBird. Unlike the famous names in clockmaking, EarlyBird was an underrated gem, known for its durability, precision mechanics, and unique craftsmanship. It wasn’t mass-produced like many other alarm clocks, making it rare and valuable in the world of collectors today.
Maybe it once sat proudly in someone’s home, marking the minutes of laughter, conversations, and silent reflections. Maybe its owner once wound it up every morning, trusting it to keep their schedule in perfect order. But now, it had lost that duty. Time had abandoned it, leaving behind only a shell of what it used to be.
I couldn’t let that be its fate.
So, I began the restoration, piece by piece. The gears, the plating, the engraving—all carefully brought back to life. The original branding once defined this clock, but now, I engraved my own name, marking it with my craftsmanship and identity. More than just restoring a clock, I revived a part of history—a forgotten brand that deserved recognition once again.
And with every tick, it speaks once again—not of the past it lost, but of the future it was given.
