Zelda BOTW Master Mode 4 - Running for the jungle tower

I'm playing Breath of the Wild on MASTER MODE for the first time on Mondays and Wednesdays, 5-7PM Eastern Time, 4-6 Central.

I've decided to NOT go to Hateno, which is what they try to guide you to do, but to instead run to the south jungle tower. Why? Because I need some heart fruits! Hearty durians are essential, and if I can activate that tower I'll have a farmable resource. Can I do this?
