ABOUT MARCIA FACKLER:
Marcia is an ordinary woman with an ordinary life and ordinary fears who went in search of and found extraordinary hope and joy! Her nature is practical, her mind is always open and she considers life to be a school that offers degrees in awakening. She feels the more you learn and are open to receiving, the better you get at living a full and wondrous life.

She is a wife to her fun-loving high school sweetheart with whom together they raised 4 rambunctious, energetic kids who have become outstanding adults and parents to their delightful 11 grandchildren.

Chaotic family gatherings fill her heart, morning walks bring her grace, and time with friends keeps her young. The only time she feels powerless is when dealing with technology and she is a strong believer in miracles, the small everyday kind, and the big life-changing variety! She trusts that deep joy is found through gratitude.

One of her biggest joys in life has been being involved with the non-profit organization, Dress for Success Louisville, for 24 years and the people she has met along the way. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each book will be donated to support their mission.

ABOUT MARCIA’S BOOK:
We all struggle with negative thoughts. During a particularly cynical and pessimistic time in her life, Marcia Fackler discovered through her spiritual searching that a negative bias is innate to the human mind.
This realization became a pivotal part of her awakening. Being a practical person, Marcia was inspired to create a symbol — rose colored glasses — to help overcome this negative bias. This symbol became a guiding force, keeping her aligned and reminding her to seek and see God in all situations, things, and people.
Through this practice, she also came to recognize the incredible power of the mind — the power to shift our thoughts and uncover the love within our hearts, and the joy that follows.
In her inspiring book, The Lens to Hope and Joy, Marcia shares the profound possibility of transforming the world simply by changing how we see the world.
