Back at Verdant Meadows Airfield, CJ impatiently waits for The Truth, who soon arrives—barely in control—flying the Jetpack recovered in the previous mission. He crashes clumsily, but with typical enthusiasm declares, “The new age begins here!” Truth tasks CJ with another bizarre objective: intercept a military train and steal “whatever they least want us to get.” When CJ presses for details, Truth admits he has no idea what exactly they’re after—only that it’s important and secret. Using the Jetpack, CJ locates and lands on the moving train, where he takes out several guards and retrieves a mysterious container of green glowing goo. He returns to the airfield, where The Truth is waiting with his mothership. Upon seeing the goo, Truth is ecstatic, claiming that “everything is different now” and that this marks "Year Zero." As usual, he offers no clear explanation, taking the goo and driving off, leaving CJ wondering what the hell just happened.
