While CJ is at Verdant Meadows Airfield, Mike Toreno suddenly sneaks up and grabs him by the throat, warning him that he's still not alert enough for the work ahead. Toreno explains that he has agents in the field who urgently need equipment, but he’s too closely watched by several intelligence agencies to deliver it himself.

He tasks CJ with flying a small Rustler plane and making a low-altitude drop of contraband in Angel Pine. Toreno warns CJ to stay below radar detection by flying through the canyons and keeping low to the ground. CJ takes off and carefully navigates through the countryside. If he rises too high, he risks being spotted and pursued by military jets. After successfully making the drop and returning to Verdant Meadows, Toreno commends CJ on a job well done, proving that Carl’s flying lessons have already paid off.
