Greed is the Seed of Our Own Destruction

I entitled the video ‘Is Greed Leading Us to a Extinction Level Event?’ It is the core question of our time.

What is greed? Is it taking more than you need? Is greed need? Susan Carew-Holmes discusses the kernel of wisdom that greed is imbalance and the real cause of climates of change.

Greed augments or makes larger who we think we are. This need to be bigger, better, greater, superior arises from the fear of ‘not enough’. Those who look like powerful leaders, who have armies at their disposal, who make definitive decisions and are framed as the ‘strong man’ are part of a paradigm that believes greed is good as it gives the impression of power. What we have witnessed is empires always fall as Mahatma Gandhi revealed on his long march in India to remove imperialism. Imperialism has its roots in superiority not equality and has augmented this by acquiring assets and wealth to create the illusion of power.

Susan speaks of the matriarchy where the feminine places the family at the centre. This is the beginning of community. This is called ‘service to others’. When the patriarchy took power, the male individual became the centre of power and this is called ‘service to self’. The reason for activity was to augment the ‘self’ not to serve the ‘community’ (the whole). Thus, people are paid to contribute, it is not a natural desire. This is how seeds were sown to the eventual breakdown of the family which was the very cohesion or bonds strengthening the social fabric ensuring peace, happiness and order. Order in this sense is equality on all sides balanced by fairness, sharing, equal opportunity and social agreement in a social-agrarian-economic system.

Economics in its original conception was to allocate resources fairly through a competitive price mechanism where those who produced the best products at a market demanded price survived in business. In addition, those nation states that had a comparative advantage in some area – could be engineering, expertise, resources, efficiency would naturally provide products or services at the highest quality and for the best price, to become market leaders. In the age of the multinational corporation and the stock exchanges (raising funds through shareholders), the free market mechanism was distorted by global superannuation funds garnishing wages then directed at buying up global assets such as strategic companies (potential), competitors (channels) and start ups in Technology to bank-roll market leadership (not merit) and gain influence in political and economic circles to expand ‘service to self’ of the biggest players and use this wealth to change democracies or free markets into a controlled global technocracy controlled by the few aiming to own and build public infrastructure, privatise governments, 6 corporations controlling media, intelligence, military-industrial complex and slowly remove human rights from trade by forcing compliance as ‘access’ and non compliance as denied access creating divisions in the society. Concentrated wealth and power caused major distortions such as: high prices, food shortages, induced recessions, high rents, small to medium local business collapse, higher debt and foreign equity sourcing. All this was to force a physical society into a online agile business design which disconnects ‘service to others’ (shared) as our true nature to ‘service to self’ normalising greed as need and self responsibility eroded. We become addicted to online increasingly as a necessity due to banking online, tap cards (shopping), fewer shopfronts, banks closing down exposing the private and personal data of every person to unseen actors able to access data as the new gold. This has fuelled the greatest distortion ever known to humanity in an era remarkably similar to George Orwell’s ‘1984’.

This breakdown of the family and social connectedness as the nature of the human condition since the beginning of human history is a major distortion creating imbalance in nature. This is why mental health is on the rise as humans need to feel connection and love with families, friends and a sense of community and place as we are egalitarian by nature. The breach to our privacy.

Susan introduces the biological difference between females and males. The XX (female) and XY (male) chromosomes and explains that the XX sequences 900 genes and the XY has around 54 genes. She explains in a patriarchy or controlled masculinity this can be interpreted as male inferiority. She explains the feminine does not see inferiority but rather relationship. Nature does not code the XX to enhance inequality but balance. In competitive minds that are programmed to see superior or inferior or right versus wrong to fuel imbalances over natural orientations that are coded for balance as we are nature. Diversity is about compliments, or same same but different. It is what makes life interesting, unpredictable and exciting.

Susan discusses biotechnology in respect of fuelling more imbalance. The biotech industry is genetically modifying all life inclusive of humans. This creates massive imbalance and is leading us to a mass extinction event. The sum of the parts does not know the whole, only nature senses the whole. No scientist can know the outcome of changing one gene for an industry outcome when real impacts show up in progeny in subsequent generations. Natural biology codes for balance and harmony. Industry codes for profits in the ‘service to self’ paradigm.

The imbalance between the masculine and feminine is a core issues as violent masculinity sees ‘threats’ or ‘enemies’ as work and life become a war game. The violent video games are sourced from the military and simulations to train soldiers to fight enemies. Today young boys and their fathers are playing these games as recreation unaware of the deep programming of the ‘violent man’ in these games that feels no empathy or suffers no consequence from the action of murder which is profiled in the game as ‘normal’ and rewarded by point scoring. Violent females are framed silently as ‘equal’ when coding for mind control for females to think violently not empathetically and believe they can physically fight men to win on equal terms in combat. This is viewed as respect. This sets females up to be attacked. The natural instinct of men to protect women is silently reprogrammed as equality in violence gives silent permission that violence against women is normal. This is why one woman a week is dying in domestic violence. The real world implications are ignored.
The universal law is to ‘do no harm’. There are karmic implications for decision makers and those who act on murder to remove problems rather than solve them. This is justified in economic terms and influence ensuring crimes are not punished, as powerful people are above the law. This is why the problem expands if left unaddressed.

The imbalance we witness today is an ‘inferiority complex’ in the patriarchy that focuses on ‘service to self’ and the desire is programmed to be ‘better’, ‘bigger’, ‘powerful’ and in ‘control’ in order to find peace. The imbalance arises from childhood abuses, not good enough or inferior that seeks approval. Women are engaged in this programming through repetitive violent images framing the feminine as a ‘super hero’ winning against evil. This is a false narrative. The real winning is nurturing, compassion, loving, problem solving and resolving of all conflict to create balance.

Peace can only be realised when inner conflict on all sides is resolved. This is the true geometry of the pyramidal shape. Susan discusses the fact there is no enemy only unresolved conflict within. This inner discomfort, annoyance, irritation or anger is projected into wars that are programmed by violent games to keep the war going. War is a economic game where militaries are now privatised and multinationals are using war strategies to access new markets or to increase power and wealth. The imbalance here is the need for more, ‘greed as need’ is the kernel that requires mind controlled armies seeking out enemies to uphold power of the few over the many. They have not learned the wisdom of ‘know thyself and be true’ as the real kernel that ends all inner and outer wars.
It is not possible to kill the enemy when the enemy is experienced within. In truth there is no enemy when truth is realised or ‘know thyself’. All negativity is a move away from homeostasis (balance). Peace arises when all inner conflict are resolved. Greed as need can be transformed into ‘what I have is what I want’ and ‘life works for me not against me’ and perceived conflicts are ‘teachers’ who have come to evoke negativity so we can rebalance. That is the true purpose of the dark/light elements seeking balance. The dark evokes a reaching for light ‘goodness’ to expand humanity into higher awareness. Goodness is who we are it is not a polarity. The angel is within. We are in this together. Remember, what we do to others returns to the self. We are ONE. The lack of love (imbalance) can be transformed by noticing the ‘good’ in your life no matter how you identify. This is what attracts real abundance that is sustainable and leads to real happiness.
