In this first installment of TLOZ Link's Awakening, our intrepid hero Link awakens on the mystery Koholint Island with a woman who looks like Princess Zelda herself. What wacky adventures await Link in this game? Only time will tell.

The title for this episode is taken from the 1798 poem The Rime of The Ancient Mariner by the English poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. The legendary British classic Metal band Iron Maiden wrote a song based on the poem which included direct quotes from the poem within the lyrics. It was released in 1984 on their fifth studio album, Powerslave.
