Be STILL and Know that I AM God! Double Down on the Devil Part 1

Shannon M. Gross starts a new series titled 'Down with the Devil', to remind Christians of the confidence they have in the freedom Christ provided to them when He did the work on the cross and rose from the dead. The messages reiterate how believers need to continue crushing our adversary—the devil and his demons—to take back what is rightfully ours, and gain ground for the kingdom of God so EVERY person knows the hope available to them in Christ. In part one, ‘Be Still and Know that I AM God’, Shannon releases a powerful word she believes she heard from the Holy Spirit pertaining to the times we’re in and why it’s happening.

In a time of frustration, Shannon approached the Lord begging for answers and timing for the dreams and words released to her and she received a potent rhema response from the Lord underscored by His logos—or biblical word. God—in His loving, patient, and benevolent nature—showed compassion and still responded kindly to her, knowing the expression of feelings she displayed stemmed from human understanding.

Shannon believes she heard from God the time coming is that of Isaiah 44, and He desires for His precious people to come back into His presence so much so, He will do anything to rescue them from the lies, deception, and destruction the devil has brought forth to keep people in captivity.

As we enter the season celebrating Easter, God wants to remind the world that His Son’s sacrifice is still available as a gift for anyone to receive, and the power of what Christ accomplished on the cross never diminished. Once people encounter the truth and it resonates deeply within their hearts and minds that Jesus is the only way into freedom, they will soon realize how the devil and his demons created a jail-cell of sin and strongholds they didn’t even realize they were in. But because of the work done on the cross, EVERYONE can receive the gift of Christ and walk into their future and destiny in the freedom God provided through Him!

Since the work has already been done by Jesus on the cross, we only need to submit to Him in faith, and rest in the hope that God will protect us, provide for us, and lead us into the good future He has for each of us. We can stop striving to understand how God is going to show up and fulfill His promises, because when we are still and KNOW that He is God, He will lead us into all truth and answer our prayers in ways we never even dreamed of, imagined or asked for!
