If you've never tried Portuguese farturas, you're seriously missing out. These golden, sugar-dusted beauties are one of Portugal’s most addictive street foods—and today, I’m showing you how to make them at home. No fancy equipment, no over-complicated techniques—just real, traditional flavor and that crispy, fluffy texture you remember from the feira.
In this video, I’ll guide you through the entire process: from mixing and resting the dough to frying it to perfection. We’re keeping things authentic, but I’ve also got a little twist—a homemade whisky chili caramel sauce that takes these farturas to the next level.
