From cold to hot in just a few days, this is the story of a ride from the Texas border and about 700 miles into Mexico where the air is always warm and fruit grows in the trees. Along this route, and traveling in the usual unconventional style, a few interesting adventures simply fall into place. That’s what I love so much about knowing the road so well, traveling without restrictions or time constraints, and simply following any sidetrack that may roll across the highway.
