Why Devin Haney Left Everything Behind to Level Up?

In a sit-down interview with Mike Coppinger, Devin Haney explains why he switched things up this training camp vs Jose Ramirez. Haney said, and I quote:

"Normally, I train in my mansion in Vegas. I drive my Rolls-Royce and my Lamborghini to the gym. I switched my training camp to Big Bear to refocus. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone.

All I do is eat, sleep, train, and pray daily. In this camp, I wanted to be uncomfortable and bring out the best in me. I feel like it was much needed, I feel much better, and I feel super focused.

This was a good interview. It gives the fans insight into why Haney moved his training camp to Big Bear, California, to train with legendary Hall of Famer Sugar Shane Mosley.

Will this change help Devin Haney get over the top? Will this change help Devin Haney get his swag back after the Ryan Garcia fight? We'll find out this Friday.

In other news, BLK Prime promoted a boxing event in Atlanta last weekend, and Claressa Shields was in the building. She spoke inside the ring when an announcer mispronounced her name as the GWOT, instead of saying the GWOAT.

There's a scene where Brian Norman Jr laughed when the announcer made this mistake. Hopefully, Claressa can find it in her heart to forgive the announcer.

In other news, Daniel Dubois and Oleksandr Usyk faced off yesterday in London. Dubois pushed Usyk as Usyk held his ground. In the faceoff, Usyk held up 3 fingers, as to suggest he'll be 3x undisputed champion after the fight.

If Dubois comes after Usyk the way he did against Anthony Joshua, he's getting stopped. Bully tactics don't work on Usyk. Ask Tyson Fury. Daniel Dubois said this time, he's going to put Usyk to sleep. I doubt it.

He doesn't have the footwork to keep up with Usyk. In other news, Deontay Wilder released a new promo video for his upcoming fight against Herndon on BET After Dark, I mean, MLK Prime, I mean, BLK Prime.

Wilder fans are excited and hyped about new promo. The LDBC is back supporting their King. Hopefully, Wilder can give Boxing Shego, Fagnon, the Shae Butter Laptop Revoulutionaries, and Ellie Suck Ah Ni**a Nut Sack something to cheer about.
