This song came through some testing and trials. I heard the Spirit of the Lord speak to me as I was worshiping today.
Obedience to worship/ Not obedience to worship but to be in obedience to be able to worship in Spirit and in truth.
I am learning so much lately about obedience. I have learned that I can do nothing outside of Jesus Christ. It continues to go deeper and deeper. For me to think that I am being obedient on my own strength is a delusion. I can't breath without the Lord so how can I do anything without Him? Nothing, there is nothing that prospers outside His hands.
He is bringing us through the fire, refining us and purifying us into His spotless Bride. Through this is how we become to know Him more and more. The fire and the crushing is exhausting but the more we hold tightly to Him and speak His Word into our lives we will make it. His Word is our comfort to remember all His promises that He promised to be faithful to. He is never-ending.
There are times when I think I'm not going to make it in those darkest hours, but He is so faithful to bring me through and His love is more powerful then before.
Take me deeper Lord!
