I recall the two Dollar bill silver certificates, and the five Dollar certificates bill.

It could be redeemed in Silver. I now wished I had hung onto those bills. Those $2.00 bills would now be worth $20,00+. That is100% inflation or more.

That 2–5% increase in inflation rate each year. Over 60 years is at minimum 120% inflation. So what cost &0.10 cents in 1965 now costs $2.00–$2.25.

Your silver certificate of $2.00 would be worth about $22.00.

I wish I had hung onto that $2.00 bill.
