Elementary OS - The Hype Train That's Derailed

There used to be a hype Train that was Elementary OS… but is it warranted anymore? Everyone always hypes up this distro but how is it really? I think it demands a hard look as somebody who’s used the distribution before on hardware… but for today a VM will do.
