What Happens in 1 Kings 1?

Solomon’s anointing triggers massive celebrations across Jerusalem. When Adonijah hears the news, his followers scatter in fear. Adonijah, terrified, grabs the horns of the altar seeking mercy—and Solomon spares him, for now.
