God Does Not Need You Weak And Powerless So You Depend On Him!

The worldly professing Christian leader loves to talk people into defeat and misery. They dress it up in spiritual and flowery language, but in the end, it is merely Satanic drivel. Today I address on of these mediocre quotes that people think it wise and honoring to God. I show how it is really merely disgusting propaganda against Christ and for Satan. We must understand that in God "we live, and move, and have our being" (Acts 17:28). We are not powerless in Christ and should never state we are weak, as the Scripture says, "let the weak say, I am strong" (Joel 3:10). As we grow more in grace and become powerful creators in Christ, we become MORE dependent on Christ, not less!

The lame quote being discussed is from an account that purports to be quotations from J.I. Packer. Packer was a Calvinist, so he certainly reinforced the powerless traditions of men, but I am not sure if this quote is accurately attributed to him. The quote states, "God uses chronic pain and weakness, along with other afflictions, as his chisel for sculpting our lives. Felt weakness deepens dependence on Christ for strength each day. The weaker we feel, the harder we lean."

I responded to this post, after being disgusted by all the people praising its evil propaganda, and said:

"This is the devilish nonsense professing Christians love telling each other. They think it sounds profound and spiritual, when all it shows is that they bow the knee to Satan and stay under his foot. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, not use them to make us weak, so we supposedly become more dependent on Christ. We are MORE dependent on Christ when we are powerful and full of faith!"
