GTA: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition | Mission #96: END OF THE LINE

Carl Johnson discovers Big Smoke’s location and heads to Sweet’s house to end things once and for all. The Johnson brothers ride together to Big Smoke’s Crack Palace in East Los Santos. As they prepare for the confrontation, CJ insists on going in alone, determined to settle the score for his family—and for Grove Street. Using a stolen S.W.A.T. tank, CJ breaches Smoke’s heavily guarded fortress. Battling through security checkpoints, drug labs, and enemy lounges, he finally confronts Big Smoke, now armored and deluded with power. Despite his defenses and reinforcements, CJ puts an end to his former friend’s betrayal.

As Smoke dies, Officer Tenpenny appears, forcing CJ at gunpoint to help him escape with a suitcase full of drug money. But as Tenpenny blows up the power generators, the building begins to collapse. CJ narrowly escapes the burning structure, only to find Tenpenny fleeing in a hijacked firetruck. Sweet jumps on the firetruck’s ladder, and CJ gives chase in a nearby car. As they speed through Los Santos amid chaos and rioters, CJ fends off police and gang members, eventually rescuing Sweet and taking over the wheel. Together, they pursue Tenpenny through the city’s war-torn streets until the corrupt cop loses control and crashes the truck in Grove Street. Tenpenny, critically wounded and delirious, dies alone as the people he once manipulated look on. CJ resists the urge for revenge—realizing it’s over.

Back at the Johnson house, the family and friends gather to plan the future. Madd Dogg announces his first gold record, and despite the humor and lighthearted moments, CJ knows the work isn’t done. With the Families rebuilt and the city theirs again, the real challenge lies in keeping it that way.
