Pro Late Models at Oswego

A Regional career race at Oswego Speedway on Hard difficulty. Early in the night there is plenty of traction. Traction does drop a little after Qualifying. By Feature time it is either the very bottom or the top for good traction. I find the fastest and most consistent is to enter low, slide up, and exit the corners high. The 1 lap I ran top in turn 1 was fastest, but not comfortable enough to repeat. The AI will generally run top and bottom.

Ended up with 2 cautions this race. The first one came as Brandon Weigle ran into Matty Watkins, with Watkins spinning out. The 2nd came when I went 3 wide with Kyle Arnold and Ben Matthews. After watching the replay, I had squeezed Arnold up the track without contact, but Arnold made contact with Matthews, with Arnold spinning out. The track surface is a little bumpy, but not bad. Traffic maneuverability is not too bad, but at times you have to wait for an opening. Passing high in the middle of turns 2 and 4 can get narrow as the AI will slide up the track. Overall, pretty good traffic navigation.
