In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian forces persist in their advance within the Orikhiv area, encompassing a substantial portion of the front.

In recent weeks, Russian Armed Forces (RAF) units have achieved significant advances, liberating the town of Lobkove and engaging in combat operations on the eastern outskirts of Malaya Tokmachka.

The following is a detailed chronology of the fighting in the sector.

Recent developments indicate that Russian military forces have consolidated their hold on the area surrounding Stepove, driving the opposing forces out of the majority of Shcherbaky. This comes as intense combat persists along the northern periphery of the region.

Simultaneously, southwest of the sector, assault units successfully recaptured Lobkove, which had been lost during the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (UAF) counteroffensive in summer 2023. In addition, Russian forces secured several tree belts in the vicinity of the village.

In mid-April, Russian troops initiated an offensive operation involving multiple armored units along the H-08 highway west of Novopokrovka.
