Professor Jeffrey Sachs is a leading economist and outspoken critic of U.S. foreign policy. Recently in Moscow and a guest on Judging Freedom, Sachs has called for diplomacy in both Ukraine and Gaza, arguing that U.S. actions have escalated global tensions. He continues to advocate for negotiations and multipolar cooperation to avoid further conflict.

Ray McGovern is a former CIA analyst and Russian scholar. He holds a master’s degree in Russian Studies from Fordham University, taught Russian at the University of Virginia, and is fluent in the language. Also in Moscow, McGovern dined with Sachs, continuing their shared commitment to peace and diplomatic engagement. McGovern is a vocal critic of NATO expansion and U.S. policies regarding Russia and Ukraine.
