E #25 (2025) "California Bar Exam: Technological Impact"
BONA FIDE Dialogues with Christina Kueppers
Season II, Episode #25
The February 2025 California Bar Exam was affected by significant technical failures, impacting thousands of test takers. Multiple technical issues experienced by bar takers led to widespread frustration. Additionally, many registered test takers withdrew before the exam due to concerns about the reliability of the new exam platform.
Jay Bijlani and I discussed this issue along with other challenges surrounding the California Bar Exam. Initially, we planned to focus on the intersection of the CA Bar Exam and AI, but with the widespread technical failures dominating the news, we shifted our focus. This highlights a paradox I keep noticing - while discussions about AI advancements dominate conversations, simpler technologies continue to fail us at critical moments and in everyday life.
