John receives a vision of the glorified Christ, who instructs him to write to seven churches in Asia (Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea). Each church is commended, rebuked, or exhorted based on its spiritual state, with calls to repent, persevere, and overcome. Christ emphasizes His authority and coming judgment.

John is transported to God’s throne room, where God is worshipped by elders, living creatures, and angels. A scroll sealed with seven seals, representing God’s plan for the world, can only be opened by the Lamb (Christ), who is worthy due to His sacrifice.

The Lamb opens the seals, unleashing judgments: - Seals 1–4: Four horsemen bring conquest, war, famine, and death, killing a fourth of the earth. - Seal 5: Martyrs cry for justice and are told to wait. - Seal 6: Cosmic disturbances (earthquakes, darkened sun) cause terror among humanity. - Interlude: 144,000 from Israel’s tribes are sealed for protection, and a multitude from all nations worships God. - Seal 7: Silence in heaven precedes further judgments.

Seven Trumpets - Seven angels blow trumpets, each triggering disasters: - Trumpets 1–4: Environmental catastrophes (hail, fire, poisoned waters, darkened skies) affect a third of the earth, seas, rivers, and heavens. - Trumpets 5–6: Demonic locusts torment humanity, and an army kills a third of mankind. Yet, people refuse to repent. - Trumpet 7: Announces God’s kingdom, with heavenly worship and the coming of final judgments.

Symbolic visions depict the battle between good and evil: - A woman (symbolizing God’s people) gives birth to a child (Christ), pursued by a dragon (Satan). The child is protected, and the woman flees to the wilderness. - Satan empowers a beast from the sea (a blasphemous power) and a beast from the earth (false prophet), deceiving many to worship the first beast and receive its mark (666). - God’s response includes the 144,000 redeemed, angels proclaiming the gospel, and warnings against the beast’s mark. The Son of Man harvests the earth, and the wicked face God’s wrath.

The Seven Bowls of Wrath. - Seven angels pour out bowls of God’s wrath, bringing plagues: sores, poisoned seas and rivers, scorching heat, darkness, and demonic armies gathering at Armageddon. The final bowl triggers earthquakes and hail, destroying Babylon, the symbol of evil.

The Fall of Babylon and Final Victory. - Babylon’s Judgment: Babylon, depicted as a harlot riding a beast, represents corrupt systems opposing God. She is judged and destroyed, prompting mourning by the world but rejoicing in heaven. - Christ’s Return: Christ, the King of Kings, defeats the beast, false prophet, and their armies at Armageddon. Satan is bound for 1,000 years (the millennium).- Millennium and Final Judgment: The righteous reign with Christ for 1,000 years. Satan is released, deceives nations, and is defeated. The dead are judged at the Great White Throne; those not in the Book of Life are cast into the lake of fire.
