LISTENING FOR THE STILL, SMALL VOICE OF GOD

Psalm 46:10 New King James Version
10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYBODY!!! Can you believe it's already May 1st? It's like man time is flying so fast, but yet I am seeing the power, majesty, glory, and mercy of God and I can't help but thank Him for it. I’m especially comforted, challenged, and encouraged by what I read out of this morning scripture, especially after the day we've had today, and I can't help but praise God for the fact that He's taking care of us no matter what the situation. That even in the midst of a car inspection, bad health report, job loss, or whatever it is that comes our way, we can say “My God is able!” That when Satan tries to overwhelm us with some particular situation, we can choose to remember all the times that God has provided for and been there for us, and say “God is my provider, and He WILL sustain me! But most of all, that when we choose to tune out all the surplus noise, and all the insanity that Satan throws at us in this world, and we ask God to help us listen for His Holy Spirit to speak to us quietly. To tune our hearts to God's comforting, guiding voice, and let Him speak to us and that's still small voice of comfort and compassion, we find victory.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me out of His Word about listening to His still small voice, not just with my ears, but with my heart, and how God speaks even through a gentle whisper. So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional comment and I pray that they encourage you to tune out the surplus noise in this world and focus the eyes and ears of your heart on the still small voice of God.

How can you listen for God’s voice in your busy world?

I pray that if Satan is using the sounds of this world, the surplus noise that is going on in the world around you right now, to put you in fear and distress, to remember the words of Psalm 46:10, and be still, listen to, and know that God is God! That if the noises of this world are overwhelming you, causing you despair, and to think that things are hopeless, know now that you have hope, peace, and victory through almighty God. Choose to tune out the surplus noise Satan is bringing you and just be willing to listen to the “still small voice” that is calling out to you, just as Elijah did, and know that God is there for you.
