DNR to lower Dam

The DNR announced plans to lower water levels at the Big Creek Impoundment in Crawford County to investigate structural issues with the dam. The impoundment was found to have significant structural issues during a routine inspection. The DNR says the drawdown will occur gradually and is expected to conclude no later than October 1st.
