The Negativity Mindset

The last time I did this video, I focused on my favorite movie critic, The Critical Drinker, and how his negative reviews got more hits than his positive reviews.

Unfortunately, I used “It’s a Wonderful Life” as an example of a positive review not getting hits, and that caused really smart people to say, “That’s an old, irrelevant movie. You should have used something modern.”

Because, as said, they’re really smart, and completely ignored the fact that the point was the review itself, not the age of the movie.

They took a video about being positive, and went negative.

Probably because their manhood is lacking, and crap comments online is the only way they feel better about themselves.

So, this time around I went with a modern movie, and a modern review.

Which means they’ll say, “Yeah, but Snow White has been out longer, so more people have had a chance to click on the review.”

Completely ignoring that the Snow White review shot to 2 million views within a day, whereas Warfare has remained stagnant for over a week.

(Because ignoring facts/logic/reason is what they do.)

But, the sad truth of the matter is: we the people love negativity.

I’m not sure why, but that seems to be the case.

Which is a bummer.

All I can do is call attention to it.

I can’t change anything, but maybe a random person or two will notice it in themselves and make a personal change.

Here’s to hoping.
