20 Minute Lower Body Workout

This morning's workout was a bit more traditional weights workout. It always amazes me how much strength I'm able to retain when I go through a phase of primarily calisthenics workout, especially lower body strength. I wasn't pushing all time best weights this morning, but I'm still pushing some good weight compared to the last time I focused on barbell workouts. I'm considering switching things up and starting a barbell strength program and getting more consistent with my morning workouts once again. I need at least another 100 lbs of weights. So, I'm going to keep an eye out for deals on Facebook marketplace. I need to get some sandbags to better anchor my rack as well. But, with those changes, I'll be ready to start pushing some weight!

This morning, I tested myself on heel elevated front squats. I worked up to a top set of 335x2. I finished my legs off with some Nordic Leg Curls. Tonight, I'm going to do some agility and power work during my daughter's soccer practice. Tomorrow will be flat press. Here's to new beginnings.
