CBR Speedway “Mudsling in Spring” Round 1

This video is round 1 of the famed CBR Speedway Pro-Cart Championship, with racers in their picked starting positions, 1) Andrew Bielski #38 filling in for Arianna Ditello, 2) Sam Hanson #1, 3) Callum Schintgen #15, 4) Tyler Anthony #17, 5) Ty Ostrand #8 filling in for Will Friedenfels, 6) Colton Berns #307, 7) Ricky Hembel #11. You will see in this video with a camera on my head and a camera on the right rear of my cart that in the beginning I try to pass Callum on the outside for several laps, but these carts are so evenly matched that I find out the only way to get by is on the inside. Don’t scrub off any power, stay close to the carts in front of you, and wait for a mistake where they slide up, and shoot by on the inside. This causes a problem, when the carts are that evenly matched you need to stay very close to the cart in front of you so when they make a mistake you can capitalize on that mistake, you may only have one chance, this causes issues like what happen with Sam and I in this race. I was so close to Sam and coming in fast that I could not react fast enough to avoid an incident. The 2024 CBR Pro-cart champion was Sam Hanson, as we get a little farther into the season we will see who can come out on top this year, always remember “one race does not make a season” as last year I was up by the first two races, then had issues that put me in the behinder, and I finished second on the season. This year I have my shit together with a spare engine ready to go in, I have learned many things about these engines over the winter (much I will not disclose), and have made numerous small changes that will add up as the season goes on! In future races you will see two new carts that Colton & Keven are building, there will be two new racers to this series, they are older like me and their carts will be at their residences, they own and build hot rods for fun and I am sure this will be a total game changer for the series as they will work to figure out their carts to add speed.
